Description
45 Cal 185 gr SWC Lead Hard Cast Bullets for Reloading.
If you’re looking for a way to enjoy your .45 without the fatigue of a long day at the range, you’ve found the ticket. The Stateline .45 caliber 185 grain SWC is our go-to when we want to slow things down and focus on pure fundamentals. This is the H&G 242 profile a design with some serious history. Originally developed for the Long Beach Police Department for those who wanted high performance without the heavy recoil of a service round.
When you load these for soft shooting, the gun stays amazingly flat. That classic Semi-Wadcutter shoulder still gives you those beautiful, clean ‘cookie-cutter’ holes that make scoring a breeze, but the recoil is so light it feels more like a 9mm than a big-bore. It’s the ultimate choice for a long afternoon of target practice or for introducing a new shooter to the 1911 platform. This world-class cast bullet delivers elite accuracy while saving your wrists from fatigue. It’s consistent, it’s clean, and it’s a pure joy to pull the trigger on.” Excellent light weight SWC for the Bullseye competitors. Unlike the rounded Hensley and Gibbs #130, this design has a clean bevel down to the nose meplat, ensuring flawless feeding.

Bought some bullets for a revolver and 9m, both swc. Bullets were accurate in both (within my shooting ability…). The 124 grainers fed through the 9mm with no problems. Liked them so much I ordered 500 rounds for 45 ACP. Service is outstanding and packaging protects bullets well. Good bullets have not seen leading occurring.

Very happy with these bullets. I just ordered another 500. Extremely tight grouping (sorry. Didnt measure) at 25 yards with 3.9 gr of 700-x out of a Colt 1911 Mrk 4 Series 70. I know these will help to bring up my average in my Bullseye league (God knows I need all the help I can get).

All the bullets I got from Stateline looked well made. I loaded some and shot them in my 45 pistols. They had no problem feeding and shooting. Have received more since then so I will be trying the 40s next.
