These hard cast bullets are some of the best cowboy action bullets made for reloading 38 special cowboy loads in a lever action.

This Hard Cast Lead Bullet is also excellent in 38 Special Revolvers for IDPA. When placed in a speed loader, the nose design reduces reload time during a match.

This bullet is a true 38 Caliber bullet, not a 9mm bullet being sold as a 38. It has a Truncated Cone Flat Point with improved bearing radius to provide excellent feeding in all lever actions. This bullet has been specifically designed by Stateline Bullets and is not sold anywhere else. What is the OAL of a 38 Special with our 150 grain TC Cowboy Action Bullet?

The OAL is approximately 1.505″ when seated to the crimp groove. Most “slicked-up” lever action rifles require a 38 Special Cartridge OAL of around 1.5″ to function properly. This cast bullet meets those requirements.
